WCDMA-Based Black Box
Unlike the existing black boxes that enable only the local storage of accident and event data, WCDMA-Based Black Box offers advanced features by using SK Telecom’s WCDMA network. As Korea’s first black box to be embedded with a 3G modem, the WCDMA-Based Black Box provides the video data on demand, anytime including when the users are driving. It also allows users to view the video recording on a real-time basis via their smartphone when an event is detected (such as when an impact occurs to their car in a parking mode.)

The existing ATM services have been provided through wired internet network. Recently, however, the ATM service is going wireless through LTE routers(LTE backhaul communication and Frontend with Ethernet or Wi-Fi interface.) Remote Metering
SK telecom has provided remote metering service from 1998. It can be delivered through CDMA, WCDMA, or LTE. The metering value is transported periodically to the power company, and used for billing or power generation control.
